About

About me I consider myself an educator. I served as Graduate Certified teacher (Caribbean studies, Geography, Social Studies, History) and Information Technology for 13 years. Served as Head of Humanities at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School. I was very active in my local teachers’ association where I was elected as General Secretary and President. I am presently a PhD student at the School of Education, University of Nottingham. In 2008 I created an online network of Caribbean educators. Today the network is over 875 members and this forms the basis for work in My PhD thesis. Since 1995 I have facilitated a number of workshops in technology education and recently has been facilitating sessions with Andy Coverdale on the use of social media to academics at the University of Nottingham. I am from the Caribbean (born in Dominica but raised in Anguilla). My wife is from Guyana and we met while we were students at the University of Southern Caribbean. We have 3 children 2 boys, one girl.
